Welcome to Weatherizer. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data.

By using Weatherizer, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

📍 Location Data

Weatherizer requests access to your device's location for the following purpose:

• To fetch accurate local weather data for your current location
• To provide clothing recommendations based on your local weather
• To check weather conditions for weather-based alarm triggers

We do not store, share, or sell your location data. Your location is used in real time and is never saved to any server.

🔔 Notifications

Weatherizer requests permission to send you notifications in order to:

• Ring your scheduled alarms at the time you set
• Display weather information when your alarm goes off
• Alert you when a weather-based trigger condition is met

You can disable notifications at any time from your device settings.

🎙️ Microphone & Speech

Weatherizer may request microphone and speech permissions for the voice alert feature (Pro subscribers only). This feature reads your weather report aloud using your device's text-to-speech engine.

We do not record, store, or transmit any audio.

💾 Data Storage

All alarm settings and preferences are stored locally on your device only using your device's secure storage. We do not upload your alarm data to any server.

💳 Subscriptions & Payments

Weatherizer offers an optional Pro subscription at $0.99/month. All payments are processed securely through:

• Apple App Store (iOS users)
• Google Play Store (Android users)

We use RevenueCat to manage subscription status. RevenueCat may collect anonymous purchase data to verify your subscription. We do not have access to your payment details.

Subscriptions auto-renew monthly unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date.

🌐 Weather Data

Weather information is fetched from Open-Meteo (open-meteo.com), a free and open weather API. Your coordinates are sent to Open-Meteo to retrieve weather data. Open-Meteo does not store personal data. You can review their privacy policy at open-meteo.com.

👶 Children's Privacy

Weatherizer is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

🔄 Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any significant changes by updating the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated policy.
