Privacy Policy — Billizer

Billizer is a simple bill-reminder app. This policy explains what information the app handles and how. In short: your bills stay on your phone, and we only collect an email address if you choose to buy the paid version. We do not show ads, and we never sell your data.

Information We Collect

• Your bills and reminders. The bills you add (name, due date, repeat setting, reminder time) are stored only on your device. They are not uploaded to us or to anyone else.
• Account email (only if you purchase). If you buy the one-time paid unlock, you create an account with your email address and a password. We use this only to remember that your account has paid, so you can restore your purchase on another phone or after reinstalling.
• Purchase status. A record that your account has paid. We do not receive or store your card or payment details — payment is handled entirely by Google Play (and, on iOS, the App Store).

We do not collect your name, contacts, location, photos, or usage analytics.

How We Use Your Information

• To send you local reminders for the bills you added.
• To create your account and unlock the paid version.
• To restore your purchase when you sign in again.

Where Your Data Is Stored

Your bills stay on your device. Your account email and paid status are stored using Google Firebase (Authentication and Firestore). Purchases are processed by Google Play Billing and managed through RevenueCat, which tells the app whether your account has unlocked the paid version. These providers process this limited data on our behalf.

Notifications

Reminders are shown as local notifications on your device. You can turn them off at any time in your phone's settings; the app still works without them.

Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade your information. We do not share it with anyone except the service providers listed above, and only as needed to run the app's accounts and purchases.

Data Retention and Deletion

Bills stay on your device until you delete them or uninstall the app. If you created a paid account and want it and its data deleted, email us at the address below and we will remove your account record.

Children's Privacy

Billizer is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.

Security

Account access is protected by your email and password through Google Firebase. Please keep your password private.

Changes to This Policy

If this policy changes, we will update the date at the top of this page.
